Joselyn-Lopez-213x300Joselyn Lopez of North Lauderdale, Florida was taken into police custody on October 26 for allegedly causing a car crash over a year ago that led to the death Christopher Sheehan and injured Jacob Snowhite.

Lopez, 30, faces eight charges, including DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, reckless driving and causing serious bodily harm. During a bond court hearing on Friday, a judge set her bond at $47,000 and ordered her not to drive a vehicle under any circumstances. If she manages to post bail, Lopez is to be placed on house arrest with an ankle monitor and will have to submit to weekly drug and alcohol testing.

Roger-Wittenberns-300x169Roger Wittenberns of West Palm Beach, Florida was arrested on Monday for allegedly causing a car crash that led to the death of Uber driver J. Gerald Smith in September last year. Wittenberns, 61, faces charges of DUI manslaughter, DUI causing injury, and vehicular homicide.

He turned himself in and was booked into Palm Beach County Jail on June 12. His bond was set at $450,000 during his first court appearance on Tuesday morning. If he bonds out of jail, he will be placed on house arrest and is not to have contact with any witnesses. The judge made an exception for his wife, Patty Ann McQuiggin, who is one of the witnesses in the case.

Javier LandronJavier Landron of Oakland Park, Florida was arrested for allegedly driving his 2008 Toyota Tundra on the wrong lane, causing a car crash that killed Audrey Williams Ives of Lauderdale Lakes on September 7 last year. He faces charges for DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide and was ordered to be held without bond during his first-appearance court session on Tuesday.

According to the arrest report, the alleged fatal head-on collision occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Landron, 47, purportedly drove his pickup truck heading west on an eastbound lane near West Oakland Park Boulevard.

Michel ChatmanMichel Chatman of Weston, Florida is facing a vehicular homicide charge for a crash in July of 2015 that killed bicyclist Michael Caine. Broward Judge John Hurley has imposed restrictions on Chatman’s driving and set bond at $30,000.

The alleged crash took place on July 17 last year along Bonaventure Boulevard near Duval Court. Chatman, 31, was driving a red 1991 Toyota MR2 when he allegedly struck Caine, 50, at around 5:30 p.m.
