Joseph Lewis Jr. of Broward, Florida was arrested on charges of human trafficking and sexual battery on a minor. He allegedly prostituted a 17-year-old girl from Fort Myers to a group of men in Plantation and forced her to turn over the money she earned before raping her. Lewis, 34, is being held without bond at Broward’s Main Jail. The press did not specify if Lewis has acquired the services of a lawyer.

The arrest report states that Lewis purportedly planted the teenage victim in a hotel room on the fourth floor of the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Plantation, Florida. He then purportedly created a sex ad for the girl on a website without her consent. The victim told police that she was forced to have sex with seven or eight men who responded to the ad and came to the hotel room over the weekend.

Nathan Urbano Valentin of Hollywood, Florida was arrested on Wednesday and faces charges for sexual assault and battery on a minor. Valentin, 27, was allegedly a maintenance man in the building where the then 6-year-old Lauderdale Lakes girl lived. He purportedly molested her and forced her to perform sex acts on October 2014. Valentin is being held without bond, and it is still unclear if he has acquired the services of an attorney.

According to the reports, a warrant for Valentin’s arrest was issued in December last year. The warrant was reportedly issued after the victim told detectives at Broward Sheriff’s Office that a maintenance man she knew as “Nate” had sexually assaulted her while her grandmother was sleeping.

Daniel Rush, a police officer from Coconut Creek, Florida was arrested last Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting two teenage boys. He faces two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and one count of sexual assault on a minor. Rush, 26, is being held without bail in Broward County Jail. It is unclear whether Rush has acquired the services of a lawyer.

Rush is one of the founders of a youth mentoring organization called Men of Virtue & Ethics, which helps young men better their lifestyle through character building, mentoring, and the development of various skills. Broward Sheriff’s Office did not specify if the two boys who claim to have been molested by Rush are members of his mentoring organization.
