Broward Sheriff’s Office detention deputy Verol Cowans of Port St. Lucie, Florida has been arrested after a woman accused him of repeatedly sexually assaulting her starting when she was 7 years old.
Cowans, 58, is charged with four counts of sexual battery by an adult against a victim under 12. He is being held in Palm Beach County Jail. It is unclear if he has acquired the services of an attorney.
Leandro Mlodziejewski was arrested on July 10 for allegedly raping a teenage girl in a Publix restroom.
Mlodziejewski, 28, is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior in the presence of a minor and two counts of sexual battery against a minor. He is being held in the Broward County Main Jail on $200,000 bond. If he posts bail, he will be required to wear an ankle monitor and surrender his passport, as he is a U.S. citizen who was born in Argentina and is deemed a flight risk. Amilcar Morales-Aguilar of Lake Worth, Florida was arrested on Sunday for allegedly recording himself raping an 11-year-old, then threatening to show the video to the child’s mother.
Morales-Aguilar, 34, was arrested on two counts of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years of age, and one count of sexual assault on a victim under 12 years of age. He is being held without the possibility of posting bond in Palm Beach County jail. Attorney information was not available.
Delmar O’Sullivan of Miami Beach, Florida was arrested for allegedly groping, kidnapping, and sexually assaulting a woman on Christmas Day.
O’Sullivan, 23, faces charges for sexual battery, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. He is being held on bond at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. The press did not name an attorney for O’Sullivan.
