blur-car-driving-300x195Maydelis Pulido of Hialeah, Florida was arrested on October 11 for allegedly hitting an elderly man and leaving the scene without stopping to administer aid or call for help. The elderly man, who has been identified as 79-year-old Orlando Quiala of Miami Beach, died at a nearby hospital.

Pulido, 23, is currently charged with one count of leaving the scene of a crash involving a death. She is being held on $10,000 bond at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. More charges are expected to be filed. The press did not name an attorney for Pulido.

Ricardo Gonzalez of North Miami-Dade, Florida turned himself in on June 13 for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run crash that killed Hilda Garcia.

Gonzalez, 25, faces charges of vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, attempting to tamper with physical evidence, and leaving the scene of a crash involving death. He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. It is unclear if he has acquired an attorney.

Latravia Chantae Reed of Doral, Florida was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a Miami Beach tourist over the Memorial Day weekend. The tourist was identified as Steven Beech, 38, of California.

Reed, 33, is charged with first-degree murder, leaving the scene of a crash involving death, credit card fraud involving more than $100, and strong arm robbery. She is being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight correctional center. The press did not name an attorney for her.

Bradley Ruben of Hollywood, Florida is accused of causing a fatal car crash on I-95 that led to the death of Juan Pedro Garcia of North Bay Village, and attempting to run from the scene of the accident.

Ruben, 32, is charged with resisting arrest and failing to stop at an accident involving death. During his first-appearance court session on Thursday, prosecutors asked for a $100,000 bond out of concern that Ruben might flee the state because he’s a professional poker play who has made a lot of money.
