Thomas-Michael-Cifrodella-227x300Thomas Michael Cifrodella of Acreage, Florida was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in the DUI crash that led to the death of Alford “Jamie” Scardina and seriously injured Angel Digiovanni.

Cifrodella, 36, is being charged with DUI manslaughter and DUI causing serious bodily harm. He is being held without bond at Palm Beach County Jail. His bond hearing is scheduled for July 10. The press did not list an attorney for him.

Genaro-Delacruz-Ajqui-226x300Genaro Delacruz Ajqui, a native of Guatemala, was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in the June 1 crash in Jupiter, Florida that led to the deaths of paramedics Paul Besaw and Lahiri Garcia.

Ajqui, 39, is being charged with vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, driving without a license causing death, and DUI damage to person/property. He was arrested after he was released from St. Mary’s Medical Center on June 15. He is being held at Palm Beach County Jail. It is unclear if he has acquired the services of an attorney.

Roger-Wittenberns-300x169Roger Wittenberns of West Palm Beach, Florida was arrested on Monday for allegedly causing a car crash that led to the death of Uber driver J. Gerald Smith in September last year. Wittenberns, 61, faces charges of DUI manslaughter, DUI causing injury, and vehicular homicide.

He turned himself in and was booked into Palm Beach County Jail on June 12. His bond was set at $450,000 during his first court appearance on Tuesday morning. If he bonds out of jail, he will be placed on house arrest and is not to have contact with any witnesses. The judge made an exception for his wife, Patty Ann McQuiggin, who is one of the witnesses in the case.

Arlene-Torres-241x300Arlene Torres of Miami, Florida was arrested on Sunday for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a crash with her son in the back seat of the car.

Torres faces several DUI charges, including DUI, DUI with serious bodily injury, DUI while accompanied by a minor, and resisting an officer without violence. She is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Center. The press did not say if bond has been set for her or if she has hired an attorney.
