Sean Michael Harris of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was arrested for his involvement in a car crash that killed Crystal Blazek, 34, of Oakland Park.
Harris, 27, is charged with reckless driving and vehicular homicide. He was released from jail after paying a $15,200 bond. It is unclear if he has hired an attorney.
During his first court appearance was on May 23, prosecutor Ross Weiner said Harris was driving at speeds as high as 120 mph seconds before the impact.
“At the time of the crash the defendant was driving 106 mph and he didn’t even attempt to brake until less than one second before the crash,” Weiner said.
