Bryson Lee Carter, 26, resident of Iowa Avenue, was arrested in connection to the non-fatal shooting of a man working as bouncer at Anthony’s Pub & Restaurant. The 2017 silver Chevrolet Malibu used during the shooting is registered under Carter’s name. However, Carter told police that one of his passengers shot at the bouncer, sources indicate.
According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the person who violently attacked Soriero was identified as Christian Alexander Gordon of West Park.
Gordon, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery inflicting bodily hurt or disability. He was released on $10,000 bond. The press did not name an attorney for him.
Officer Alfred Bryant of the North Miami Police Department was arrested on April 9 after he allegedly had a verbal altercation with his wife that turned physical. Bryant, 43, faces a battery charge. The press did not list an attorney for him.
According to Bryant’s statement to Miami-Dade police, the alleged altercation occurred in the kitchen of his home. He and his wife reportedly got into an argument about dinner. Bryant wanted to go out for dinner with his wife and three children, but his wife reportedly told him that she had already cooked food for herself and that he should go out with the kids to get dinner.
Freddy Alberto Elias of Sunrise, Florida was arrested on January 8 for allegedly choking his girlfriend, branding her with fork, and attempting to “waterboard” her in the shower with a towel and water. Elias, 27, faces charges for attempted murder, false imprisonment, domestic battery, and aggravated battery. He is being held at Broward Main Jail without bond. New sources did not name an attorney for Elias.
According to the affidavit, Elias knocked at the back door of his girlfriend’s home at 3 a.m. on January 3. His girlfriend, whose name has not been released because she’s an alleged victim of domestic abuse, was reportedly with a male friend at the time. The friend left through the front door before Elias entered the home.
Anthony Quintal of Sunrise, Florida was arrested last Saturday for allegedly beating, robbing, and raping a 60-year-old woman. He faces charges for aggravated battery, sexual battery, and some unspecified drug-related offenses. It is unclear if bond has been set for Quintal, 25, or if he has acquired the services of an attorney.
According to the arrest report, Quintal purportedly attacked the woman while she was taking a walk near Cypress Preserve Park on Northwest 90th Terrace in the early hours of the Saturday morning. Police say Quintal first approached her with the intention of stealing her cellphone, but the victim doesn’t speak English well and could not understand his demands.
