sfl-brandon-forbes-photo-20160126Brandon Phillip Forbes of North Lauderdale, Florida was arrested for alleged kidnapping, sexual assault, and battery, along with Raiza Rosado who was arrested and charged with kidnapping.

According to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Forbes, 34, was arrested for allegedly luring, kidnapping, and sexually assaulting a woman in his North Lauderdale home. Rosado, 23, was arrested for aiding Forbes with the alleged kidnapping. The report did not list an attorney for the pair.

Jail records from the sheriff’s office show that Forbes is being held in lieu of a $35,000 bond, while Rosado is being held without bond. The report states that Forbes and Rosado met the 33-year-old victim in Miami Beach, and Rosado allegedly approached her and invited her to come home with her and Forbes.

The victim spent the night at their home where she claims Rosado told her that she and Forbes commit robberies. When the victim tried to leave, Forbes allegedly approached her and aggressively told her not to leave.

The report says that the pair tied her legs and hands and the next day, Forbes tried to have sex with her while Rosado was asleep. When Forbes told Rosado what he done, the two had an argument and attacked the victim, hitting her multiple times.

The victim claims that Forbes and Rosado put a sock in her mouth and covered her head with a black sheet. She was reportedly held captive for five days until Rosado finally took her to a train station and let her leave. The victim immediately contacted police.

That same day, police responded to a domestic disturbance at the North Lauderdale home caused by a verbal argument between Forbes and Rosado. According to the report, Rosado called 911 and reported that a woman was being held hostage that Forbes was having “relations” with her. Rosado said Forbes beat the victim and there was “blood all over the floor.” Officers who arrived at the scene didn’t find a victim at the home, but they did find a firearm that was purportedly thrown out of a back window. Their alleged captive later identified both suspects in a double photo array, the report said, which led to their arrests.
