Felix Germano of Vero Beach, Florida Arrested for Propositioning a Child for Sex

Felix Germano of Vero Beach, Florida was arrested Friday after he was accused of propositioning a child for sexual services at a school bus stop in Vero Beach, then trailing him and his mother as they walked home, news sources indicate. Germano, 83, was booked into the Indian River County Jail on charges of two counts of stalking and procuring a person less than 18 years of age for prostitution. A bail bond was not set. It is not yet known whether Germano has hired a lawyer .

Reports say the alleged incident occurred around 8:00 Friday morning at a bus stop on the 1200 block of 24th Street in Vero Beach. The young boy, who reports only identified as a child younger than 13, was waiting for his school bus to arrive when Germano pulled alongside him in a Cadillac, reports say. Germano allegedly asked the boy if he would accept cash for sexual performances. Alarmed, the child reportedly called both his mother and the police.

The child’s mother showed up to the scene to take her son home and was allegedly confronted by Germano, reports say. The man reportedly asked once more for sexual services for a purported $20, sources say. The mother started to lead her son home on foot but Germano reportedly pursued, prompting the woman to call police. In response, an officer pulled over and arrested Germano on the 1100 block of 26th Street. He told the officer the allegations were false.

Germano was not the only Florida resident accused of sexual misconduct against a child recently. William Daniel Metcalfe of St. Lucie County, Florida was arrested Thursday after he was accused of inappropriately touching a young girl one year ago, reports indicate. Metcalfe, 41, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on nine counts of sexual battery on a child less than the age of 12. A bail was not set.

Reports say detectives first learned of the alleged abuse when a child, identified only as a 5-year-old girl, told a guardian that Metcalfe had sexually abused her one year before. The guardian reported the purported abuse to police. Officers then confronted Metcalfe, who allegedly confessed that the accusations were true. It is unclear if Metcalfe is related to the victim or was responsible for her well-being at some point in the past.

Unfortunately, the sexual misconduct arrests do not end there. Jennifer Piranian of Manatee County, Florida was arrested after she was accused of inappropriately touching herself at a coffee shop in Bradenton, reports indicate. An officer reportedly found a drug paraphernalia containing traces of cocaine during a search. Piranian was booked into the Manatee County Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics. Her bail was set at $1120; it is unclear whether she has hired legal representation.

Reports say the incident occurred at a Starbucks coffee shop. Employees reportedly spotted Piranian touching herself inappropriately in the business’s entrance hall. The employees called police, who responded to the scene and questioned Piranian. She allegedly told officers that she was waiting to go the hospital. An officer asked to search her purse and she consented, leading to the discovery of the alleged narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
